Our research group is pleased to contribute to the RADAR project. This collaboration presents an exciting opportunity to build on the results and expertise we have developed in previous research projects, particularly the EU-funded project SMARTBOX. In RADAR, our main focus will be the identification and optimization of enzymes capable of catalyzing the targeted reactions. These tailored enzymes will be crucial for enabling efficient and selective biocatalytic transformations. By integrating our biocatalytic approach into the overall workflow of the RADAR project, we expect to support the development of a novel and effective process. Ultimately, we believe this work will contribute significantly to the sustainable valorization of lignin, opening up new possibilities for its industrial application. We look forward to a fruitful and impactful collaboration.
