Normec OWS, as a world-leading lab in biodegradation testing, is responsible for the evaluation of the biodegradation behaviour of the developed biobased chemicals covering different natural environments. We will additionally perform ecotoxicity trials on these chemicals based on species as algae, Daphnia, copepods,....Via the RADAR project we want to expand our knowledge with regard to environmental impact of these new chemicals and use the new approach methodologies (NAM) for hazard assessment of chemicals, promoting and accelerating to a safer and sustainable world.
